About the Authors
Perryn took the helm of The Brand Constructors in 2008 when Design the Planet, LLC launched the construction marketing division to serve the unique marketing needs of the A/E/C industry. In charge of business development and brand awareness for the new division, he joined many industry organizations, and became a featured speaker on construction marketing and branded communications. Perryn is a graduate of Loyola University New Orleans. He earned the designation of CCMP (Certified Construction Marketing Professional) from the Construction Marketing Association, and the CPSM (Certified Professional Services Marketer) from SMPS (Society of Marketing Professional Services). Perryn serves in leadership roles for SMPS Southeast Louisiana and the SMPS Southern Regional Conference (SRC). Perryn is an Eagle Scout and loves being in the out of doors. He was selected as one of ENR’s “20 Under 40” in 2014 for Texas & Louisiana, and was honored as SMPS Southeast Louisiana’s “Member of the Year” in 2013. He is married and has a daughter.
Over the past 30 years, Rob Folse has enjoyed a diverse career experience. Having worked in hardware supply, construction, oil and gas, professional recruiting, technical writing, finance, strategic marketing, sales, and brand-marketing consulting, Rob has the uncanny ability to quickly identify a business’ strengths, weaknesses, and brand-building opportunities. As one of the founding team members of the The Brand Constructors, he assists clients with increasing their profitability, engaging their brand community, improving their brand recognition, and maximizing their brand marketing opportunities.
Rob was born and raised in New Orleans, and is a graduate of the University of New Orleans (UNO), College of Business. He has been involved with the construction industry since Hurricane Katrina when he joined Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Bayou Chapter. He is an invited speaker for professional and non-profit organizations, and provides thought leadership on marketing and brand-marketing through his blog posts, white papers and e-newsletters. Rob digests as many innovative business-building concepts as possible, then boils them all down into realistic implementable initiatives for his clients. He serves his community as past president in his Rotary Club and board member for several non-profits focused on youth development, education and fitness. He is married, and together with his wife Adrienne, has two children: Brenden and Cara.
