This week, we officially released our first book entitled Construction Executive’s Guide to Brand Marketing!
We wrote the book because most construction executives do not understand marketing and therefore do not utilize marketing to grow the company. Most construction marketers and business developers do not have the tools, personnel, and budget they need to perform their jobs well because of this lack of understanding, so we wrote a book to help.
The book is broken into three parts:
1) Brand Marketing – What is brand marketing, how it varies from advertising, positioning, niche marketing, and more
2) Marketing & Business Development Team – The difference between marketing and business development, what marketers do, what each position does and the average makeup of a marketing and business development team by company size, and who effects your company’s brand.
3) Tools of the Trade – What are they and how to use them including logo, website, proposal, tradeshow, job site signage, social media, and much more.
The book also discusses when to rebrand and how to evaluate your current marketing toolkit.
